Before "Raffles City" came to Chongqing, many cities in China already had Raffles City, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Ningbo, etc. Some had already been built, while others were still in the construction stage. This Chongqing Raffles City is the largest investment project of Kaide Group in China and also the largest Raffles City project in the world.
To create a top-level urban complex, Kaide Group has invited internationally renowned architect Moses Safdi to lead the tower design. Eight high-rise buildings form a strong set of sails, representing Chongqing's millennium old urban spirit, symbolizing Chongqing's "riding the wind and breaking the waves, setting sail", and interpreting the magnificent momentum of the "ancient Chongqing pass". After completion, the Raffles City will become a new landmark in Chongqing that is well-known to everyone, such as Chaotianmen Square and Hongyadong.

The project is located between Chaotianmen Square and Monument to the people's Liberation in Chongqing, facing the intersection of the Yangtze River and Jialing River. It is an incomparable and important area in Chongqing, and it is really a land plot of "every inch of land is worth every inch of gold". The total construction area of the project is about 1.127 million square meters, with a total steel consumption of about 100000 tons. It consists of 8 slender super high-rise towers, a 6-story commercial podium, a 3-story basement, and a panoramic sky bridge connecting 4 towers. The two main towers, T3N and T3S, have 74 floors above ground and a building height of 350 meters. According to Wikipedia's data on ongoing and completed projects, T3 North Tower will become the tallest residential building in China at present. The T1 and T2 towers have 40-47 floors and a height of about 250 meters. They are a large-scale urban complex that integrates international Grade A office buildings, large shopping centers, high-end residences, five-star hotels, and international high-end service apartments, with a total investment of over 24 billion yuan.
For such a large-scale project, the designer's efforts are highlighted everywhere in the design. Among them, the most noteworthy is the "Crystal Corridor Bridge", which symbolizes the appearance of Chongqing's "staircase". It is 300 meters long and over 30 meters wide at its widest point. The entire structure is made of full glass curtain walls, connecting the four towers to form a skyline, and visitors can reach the top floor directly from the shopping center. In addition, the crystal corridor consists of a public observation deck, an aerial restaurant, an infinity pool in the sky, and an external space. Citizens can enjoy the unique landscape of the confluence of the two rivers within the corridor bridge. Especially at night, the crystal corridor is like a dazzling glass ribbon, standing on the water above the sky.
In addition, green plants are introduced on every floor of the back of the six towers and on the top of the crystal covered bridge, creating an ecological sky garden that meets people's endless pursuit of a higher quality of life; On the other three sides of the tower, the designer did not extend the sky garden further. The front side adopts a fully hidden frame mirror glass curtain wall (the entry "mirror glass" is provided by an industry encyclopedia), and the side side adopts a semi hidden frame glass curtain wall that is horizontally hidden and vertically visible. This combination can be described as beautiful, energy-saving, environmentally friendly, and ecologically comprehensive
